Monitoring was implemented in “Evrika Group” LLC market by the State Service for Food Safety of MOA of RA (hereinafter Service).
The following violations on labeling were detected during the monitoring: unpacked bread without information sheet, repackaged cheese, packaged halva, flaky dough, chicken fillet, frozen chickens, packaged “lori” and “chanakh” cheeses, butter, khachapury without labeling, “Jermuk” mineral water of “Jermuk Group” production, chicken and beef cutlets of “Evrika Group”, “Frangusol” chicken wings, “Fiduccia”, “Katkit” and “Sadia” frozen chicken, chicken gizzard, “Tulchinka” butter, “Kinder Surprise” collection, “Sheridan” and “Bachi” chocolates, “Chanakh” cheese of “Eko Kat” production, “Bari Samaratsi” sausage, “Grant Candy” and “Krasniy Oktyabr” chocolates without labeling in Armenian, beef cutlets of “Evrika Group” production, “Chanakh” cheese produced by “Igit” LLC, “Grand Candy”, “Mocco”, “Roshen”, “korivka”, “Krasniy Oktyabr”, “Alyonka” “Lindt,” “Bellissimo Conti” chocolates, which are sold in kilograms, “Grona” and “Mancho” biscuits, “Aftab” vegetable oil, “Van Boulange” chocolate cookie, pelmeni, “traditional” and pizza dough produced by “Evrika Group”, chips “Ot Martina” with incomplete labeling, “Aramus” chicken eggs, smoked “mackerel” of unknown origin, humus, pakhlava, frozen chicken pieces with unreadable labeling, as well as “Santa Anna” vegetable oil and pizza dough of “Evirka Group” with violations of storage conditions.
Samples were taken from “Korean salad”, “Strained matsun with dill salad” and “Summer salad with eggplant” for laboratory testing by the inspectors of the Service. According to the results of the laboratory testing with regard to MAFAM, (Mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganism), Coliform bacteria, salmonella, listeria, proteus (bacterium), yeasts and fungus the samples did not meet the requirements defined by № 021/2011 Technical regulation of EAEU.
According to the requirements of the 3rd subparagraph of the 1th point of the Article 7 of the RA Law on “Food safety” expired food products are hazardous and subject to utilization and eradication. The aforementioned hazardous food products were immediately removed from sale and destroyed by the inspectors of the Service.
The production of salads has been temporary suspended. Disinfection will be implemented and samples will be sent for additional laboratory testing.
