antibiotikThe State Service for Food Safety of MOA, RA (hereinafeter Service) has joined the worldwide campaign of the World Health Organization “Join the First World Antibiotics Awareness Week “. The Service will carry out awareness raising activities in food safety and veterinary fields from 16 to 22 November. Bacterial sustainability against antibacterials is a global and modern problem not only in medicine but also in food safety and veterinary fields. The Service has prepared an awareness program in the scopes of which awareness activities as well as beneficiary groups have been defined,

  • a) Community veterinarians, other entities providing veterinary service
  • b) veterinary pharmacies
  • c) livestock and poultry farms, fish farms
  • d) organizations producing meat and dairy products
  • e) business entities providing catering services, including pre-school and educational institutions

The employees of the Service will represent the current issues and challenges of bacterial stability against antibacterials in all marzes, as well as prevention ways. Booklets (1,200 copies) have been printed by the initiative of the Service, which will be given to the beneficiaries during the campaign.
