From 22nd to 23rd of February, Ignati Arakelyan, the Minister of Agriculture of RA (hereinafter referred as the Minister) and Ishkhan Karapetyan, the Head of the State Service for Food Safety of MoA of RA (hereinafter referred as the Head) during the official visit to Georgia met Levan Davitashvili, the Minister of Agriculture of Georgia.
During the meeting directions of future cooperation were discussed. A special attention was paid to the steps aimed at developing a strategy of agricultural policy. The parties touched upon the bilateral cooperation in food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary sectors as well as the issues concerning trade and economic relations between two countries.
The Minister and the Head visited LEPL National Food Agency of Georgia, establishments engaged in production of feed and fertilizers as well a Wine Museum.
