The State Service for Food Safety has received 180 written requests during 2014 and responded to all of them.
123 alerts have been received by the hotline, 50 of which had solid basis and were proceeded correspondingly.
There were 37 written complaints, which were proceeded according to the RA legislation.
More than 300 consultations were given to the citizens and business entities by the hotline.
The alerts and complaints were mainly on incomplete labeling and expired food as well as on sanitary-hygienic conditions.
