bagratashenOn 13 February, Armen Ayrapetyan, the Head of the State Service for Food Safety together with a group of specialists from the Service visited Bagratashen border control point of Tavush marz, to get acquainted with regulatory procedures over imported, exported and transit goods.

The Head of the Service gave tasks to the staff of Bagratashen border control point aimed at organizing the work more efficiently. He also called upon them to check the compliance of the products reaching the border quicker and in an efficient manner and, if necessary, implement expertise for providing the consumers with the products without delay as well as for decreasing obstacles for business operators.

The working group of the Service also visited Tavush marz center, regional institutions of Dilijan, Ijevan and Noyemberyan of the “Republican veterinary-sanitary and phytosanitary laboratory services center” SNCO functioning under the Service where they looked at the procedures, technical capacity of the center and the laboratory.
