The State Service for Food Safety of MOA, RA (hereinafter Service) was notified on 11 June, about the case that the production day on the label of the ice cream purchased in Doghs village of Armavir marz and produced by “Margarita 97” LLC had been deleted by pen.
An inspection was implemented in “Margarita 79” LLC by the order of the Head of the Service during which violations were detected. According to the results of laboratory testing the samples of “Vanilla kornet” and “Briquet” ice creams with regard to MAFAM, (Mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganism), Coliform bacteria and golden staphylococcus did not meet the requirements of RA Government decision “On the approval of technical regulation of the requirements for the production of milk and dairy products”.
The sale of “Vanilla kornet” (1000 pcs.) produced in 10.06.2015 and “Briquet” (1200 pcs.) produced in 14.06.2015 was banned by the Service. The company was given a task to withdraw the products from the market, to utilize by a natural method (heat treatment) for the use as a raw material and feed or destroy them.
At the same time, violations of sanitary-hygienic requirements were found at the production stage. The requirements of the technical regulation for food hygiene had not been maintained.
The production activity of “Margarita 79” LLC was suspended by the Service. The company was given a task to eliminate the revealed violations until 13 July, 2015.
