The Government of the Republic of Armenia creates all the necessary conditions to provide the population with safe food and to promote the export of agricultural crops. Supporting the farmers, the State Service for Food Safety has created a directory, where the chemical and biological means of plant protection permitted for the use in the Republic of Armenia, the quantities thereof, processed objects, harmful organisms, minimum and maximum cost norms, application deadlines, etc. are presented.
The aforementioned directory is a guideline intended for farmers of big farms and individual farmers.
The directory was formed on the basis of the conclusion of intergovernmental committee of the registration of plant protection measures in the Republic of Armenia in accordance with the list of chemical and biological resources of plant protection permitted for the use in the Republic of Armenia defined by the order of the Head of the State Service for Food Safety of MOA, RA.
The directory was formed by the support of the UN Food and Agriculture GCP / ARM / 003 / GRE program “Support for pesticide quality control and residue monitoring”.
