As indicated previously a monitoring was implemented by the State Service for Food Safety of MOA, RA (hereinafter Service) in the production area of S/P Vache Mejlumyan for the purpose of determining the source of the dysentery recently recorded in Dilijan city of Tavush marz. The lemonade which had become the possible cause of infection was subjected to examination. In the result the production of “Retro lemonade” was suspended by the order of the Head of the Service on 31 March, as well as recommendation has been given to business entities to eliminate the revealed violations.
Taking into consideration that the “Retro lemonade” production has been complied with the requirements of Custom Union TR 021/2011 (all revealed violations have been removed, a trial batch has been produced and presented to the laboratory testing), the suspension stipulated by the aforementioned decision has been lifted.
